Social media Manager art appraiser internship

As the Social Media Intern at Abigail Hartmann Associates, one of the premier Art Appraisal firms in the United States, you will play an active role in the day-to-day ideation for and management of our social media platforms. This is a hands-on opportunity in an established NYC based firm with staff of all ages. Questions are welcomed, ideas are encouraged, and learning is a daily occurrence. The ideal Social Media Intern is willing to learn and be adaptive.
This internship will take place virtually.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish a social media presence across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Contribute to daily social media efforts across platforms
• Write clear and compelling posts, paying close attention to brand voice as well as the overall art market
• Brainstorm and create original content for Instagram stories and IGTV
• Help oversee community management and engagement
• Put together monthly social reports and pull data on follower growth, impressions, and performance
• Manage promotion for virtual events and online classes
• Assist with website updates as needed
• Participate in meetings and distribute meeting minutes as needed

Requirements
• Strong grasp of different social media platforms
• Impeccable organizational skills and acute attention to detail
• Willingness to learn, collaborate, and pitch in where needed
• Interest in art and antiques, jewelry and collectibles
• Innate sense of aesthetic and ability to present across mediums
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to business changes
• Ability to navigate digital platforms and tools with ease

Qualifications:
• Enrolled in advanced HS computer program, college or university
• Senior or junior year standing
• No criminal record
